TGIF!!! It's been quite the busy week for me with work and our second to last week of swimming lessons. This makes for one tired momma by Friday. Whew. I am here today to share a card with you for this week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge. This week we are to create a clean and simple project using arrows in honor of the movie Hunger Games.
The sponsor for this week's challenge is SimonSaysStamp. The winner of this week's challenge will earn a $25 gift certificate.
For my card, I used my Silhouette to die cut some arrows. I downloaded some free cut files from Daniela Dobson. I resized this arrow and made it a bit smaller. I cut it out on green, blue and orange core-dinations papers and layered them onto my cardfront. I stamped some sentiments from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Big Thanks. The design of my card was inspired by this card created by Maile Belles. I am trying to build up some gender neutral thank you cards, and I think this one fits the bill.
Well, that is it for me today. On Sunday, I will get to finally meet my new niece. My sister and her family will be returning from China and I just can't wait. This week's challenge will end early due to the July 4th holiday. You will have until noon on Wednesday to link up and play. I can't wait to see what you create!
Stunning card! So crisp and clean and I just LOVE the colorful arrows against the simple white background!!!
