Make it Monday, #31

So I realize that I am submitting my entry for the Papertrey Ink  Make-it-Monday Challenge #31 at the last minute, but that is what happens when you are new to blogging. The challenge was to create a project using a non background stamp to create a background. I chose to use a Happy Birthday sentiment from Birthday Basics. I was inspired by the chevron paper from the Funky Town patterned paper sitting on my workspace. I stamped the sentiment in repeating colors and pattern and added a tag as the focal point. I really like how it turned out.

  2. This is such a great card. I love your color choices, and all the layers. I have been wondering what is in the header to your blog....is it something like this? Can I put in a request for you to blog about what is in that picture (does your blog take requests?????)

  3. I hate to leave you in suspense, but I plan on blogging about my header as soon as my sister can send me more images of my creation. As far as my blog taking requests, I do not know. I will look into that. I did recreate the tag that you see in my header for this card.
