My sister has informed me that she has taken photos of her little girl wearing her top, so I hope to have more pictures to share of this pattern soon. Thanks for looking!

Chelsea Andersen top: Part 2
Although I finished this top over a week ago, I finally managed to photograph it. The main fabric is Wildflowers in Rose from the Amy Butler Daisy Chain Blush collection and the straps, hem and belt are Deco Rose in Brown from the same collection. The upper bodice is Sandy Henderson Vintage Ironwork in Kahki from the Secret Garden collection. The flower buttons I picked up at Joanns. Aren't they just adorable? I could seriously be addicted to making this pattern. It is that simple, fun and quick.

Wow. That dress is just so cute. I could see my girls in something like that when they were younger. Except I cannot sew, so they never got anything like that. Your daughter is so lucky. I hope you save all of these clothes. They will be heirloom pieces some day.
ReplyDeleteOh, this is gorgeous, Deb! I agree with Joyce... this is definitely something you should hang on to...
ReplyDeletethis is so beautiful!! the fabric is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful dress. Love the colors and the patterns. I am sure your daughter will look adorable in it.
ReplyDeleteSo yummy! I can't wait to get my little fingers sewing this one also. But you know I have so many other projects standing in the way: two halloween costumes, two skirts, and another top...and then this adorable ensemble. I can't wait to photograph our girls together in these tops at Thanksgiving!
