...I know. Three posts in a row for this week's ColourQ Challenge. I told you I loved these colors!
Tonight I will be attending my church's women's group ornament exchange. As I was making my gift bag for the ornament, I realized that I was using my "unused" ornament from this post to decorate my bag. An ah-ha moment... another submission. For the gift bag , the design was copied from my daughter's birthday party favors. This time, I extened to topper to cover the entire front of the bag, since I didn't want to hide the decorative edge and I wanted to add some snowflake stamping. I added some Martha Stewart coarse glitter to the snowflake edges. So now the lucky receipent of my ornament will have 2 ornaments: one from inside the bag and the decorative one from the outside. I attached the ornament to the bag by punching 2 small holes and threading my baker's twine through the button. Thanks for looking!
This looks wonderful. I'm sure the recipient will be thrilled. If it is one of those exchanges where people can steal gifts, I'm sure this one will be snatched in a jiffy.
ReplyDeleteGreat gift bag! I should have done mine as a tag , so it can just come off instead of keeping it on the bag. Thanks for the better idea!
