So I realize that I am submitting my entry for the Papertrey Ink Make-it-Monday Challenge #31 at the last minute, but that is what happens when you are new to blogging. The challenge was to create a project using a non background stamp to create a background. I chose to use a Happy Birthday sentiment from Birthday Basics. I was inspired by the chevron paper from the Funky Town patterned paper sitting on my workspace. I stamped the sentiment in repeating colors and pattern and added a tag as the focal point. I really like how it turned out.
Love the bright and happy colours! And wonderful composition with the tags and fillable frames. Just lovely! Totally awesome.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great card. I love your color choices, and all the layers. I have been wondering what is in the header to your blog....is it something like this? Can I put in a request for you to blog about what is in that picture (does your blog take requests?????)
ReplyDeleteI hate to leave you in suspense, but I plan on blogging about my header as soon as my sister can send me more images of my creation. As far as my blog taking requests, I do not know. I will look into that. I did recreate the tag that you see in my header for this card.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, Deb! I love the colour combination and all the fabulous layering!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the colors on this card lots!! It is so cheery and one of my favorite color combos too! LOVE the glitter on the circle and the way you layered all the elements!!
