Hi friends! This week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge is to create a clean and simple project using things you might see in the sky: clouds, planes, kites, birds, etc.
Our fabulous sponsor is
Simon Says Stamp. The winner of this week's challenge will not only receive a $25 gift certificate but will be our guest designer next month!
I created my card using
Fly a Kite from DeNami. This stamp was a product spotlight a couple of weeks ago. I've mentioned it before, but is is worth mentioning again, this stamp is super versatile. I colored in the image with my copics. I punched out some clouds on some scrap cardstock with my Fiskars cloud punches. It was previously impressed with my PTI Linen/canvas IP plate, but it is hard to see in the photo. It really adds the perfect texture to the clouds, yet keeps the card simple. I finished it off with a sentiment from Studio Calico and some
aquamarine twine.
Remember that you have until noon on Thursday to link up and play!
So darling!

ReplyDeleteVery fun card. It reminds me of taking my girls out to fly their kites in San Francisco down near the Golden Gate Bridge.
